GAME MECHANICS:
Combos:
Light attacks can be chained up to three times. Heavy Attacks can be chained twice. Combine Light attacks chain with two Heavy attacks for a Combo Finisher. Combo Finishers deal bonus damage the higher the combo. Abilities and Deflects can extend Combos.
Counter attack:
After a successful Deflect, press Heavy Attack for a powerful Counterattack.
Ability:
Deals damage in an AoE and heals the player for a moderate amount.
Ultimate:
Increases the player’s attack damage substantially for a short duration.
Charge attack:
Press and hold Light Attack for a charge attack that deals bonus Poise damage.
Poise:
Enemies can't be staggered until their Poise Bar is depleted. Counter Attacks, Charged Attacks, Combo Finishers deal bonus Poise damage. Depleting the Poise Bar will inflict long stagger. Combo finishers on staggered enemies deal massive bonus damage.
Hookshot:
Hookshot can be used to pull yourself towards enemy or an enemy towards you. Killing enemies with combo finishers replenish a charge.
